These pictures of Dana were actually taken by Lane before the shower. I just think she looks so beautiful, I wanted to share them!

Kearson thought I looked pretty cute barefoot in the kitchen in my party dress and apron. Here I am striking a housewifely pose for him just before the shower guests started arriving (and Kearson made his escape from the house).

A nice shot of Whitney (Dana's sister-in-law), Dana, and Joye (Dana's mom) in the living room. Whitney was a great help in putting together a "memory" book for Dana. We asked the guests to write down a memory or story they had of Dana for the book. When Lila gets older, Dana can share it with her!

Marisha (Sondra's sister), Sondra, and her mom Linda. Marisha and Linda came by early to help with the decorations, and Marisha made some delicious refreshing cucumber water, too!

What would a shower be without a bunch of yummy stuff to eat??!! We thought the table looked beautiful with all the contributions. Thanks again to all the ladies who brought the delicious spread!

Fran (Lane's mom), Debbie and Terri (Lane's sisters) and Debbie's daughter Kaylee (in front).

Something strange happened to the color of this photo of the flowers - I think it looks cool!

All the ladies gathered in the living room to watch Dana unwrap her gifts. Lois (right of Dana) was a huge help by keeping all the gifts and cards together and neatly folding all the giftwrap to be recycled. Dana says everyone's Christmas gifts will be wrapped in baby giftwrap this year! :)

Sondra, Dana and I pose together after the shower.

All in all, I think the shower was a smashing success. I think Dana was truly touched by the thoughtfulness of all the wonderful women in her life! And I think I speak for all of us when I say that we all felt blessed to be a part of this amazing chapter in Dana and Lane's lives.
