At Jamie's request, we had dinner at the Clay Pit Indian restaurant. By far the best of it's type in Austin. The location is a hundred-year-old stone building, the Bertram Building that is said to be haunted. In the basement, a hidden tunnel used to lead to a nearby brothel so that high ranking figures could be spared the risk of being caught entering it from the street. We left fat and sassy, but Jamie and I still managed to rally for dancing later that night. Unfortunately, we forgot to take any pictures, so you'll just have to take my word for it!

The next day we met Sondra and Jeff for lunch and darts at Mother Egans. Best Fish n' Chips in town!

A nice picture of Jamie and I out in front of Mother E's. The inside is a traditional Irish neighborhood pub, complete with snugs.

Outside of the Bingo parlor, next to a Hawaiian Ice stand, lives this giant pink gorilla.

Jamie just couldn't resist goosing that big pink butt!

Dana met us for lunch at Dot's one day. Mmmmm - DOTS! Delicious southern home cooking. I can never resist their chicken and dumplings - they are almost as good as my Mom's!
