Visiting my new niece, Maia!

In early April, I was able to get away to visit my sister, Jamie and her family: Mark, my nephew Dakota, and the newest member, Maia! We got some good sister bonding time in and I got a lot of nice photos! I don't know how - but I only ended up with one picture of Mark, and that one was taken at 7:30 in the morning, so I didn't put it up (you can thank me later, Marky)!

Beautiful Maia. She is about 1 month old in this photo. She was born on Jamie's birthday. What a perfect present, don't you think?

I also got to hang out with my nephew, Dakota more than I have been able to in a while. He's growing into such a cool kid, and I really enjoyed spending some time with him. I think he's going to make an awesome big brother! In this photo he's got a little "road rash" on his nose from the previous days adventures. :)

Jamie, me, and Maia. I love this photo. I was showing it to a co-worker of mine who commented, "Wow! You can really tell that you two are sisters!" I couldn't agree more! :)

Proud Aunt! See how blue Maia's eyes are? We think she's got Mark's eye color, though the shape is definitely Jamie's.
