Snapshots from Bre and Mike's wedding and I meet Susan Tedeschi!

First, let me say that these few snapshots don't do Bre and Mike's wedding justice at all, but they are all I could get my hands on. Sorry it's taken me so long to get them posted, guys.

Doesn't Bre look just gorgeous in her gown? The ceremony was outdoors and we only got a little damp. Some from the rain, but also from Mike's vows, which were truly touching and caused more than a few sniffles from the wedding party.

Bre and Mike share a dance and a smooch.

Kearson, myself, and Margaret. We hadn't see Margaret, who is Kearson's older brother Matt's wife, in a while. I think the best thing about weddings is getting the chance to catch up with your family.

The weekend after we got back from New Orleans, Sondra's boyfriend, Mel had tickets to Susan Tedeschi that he and Sondra couldn't use. So, I got to use them! Thanks Mel!!! Since Kearson didn't want to go, I took my friend and co-worker Mac. Mac was the best "date." He saved the last spot in the free parking garage for me for 10 minutes until I got there, I can't imagine the names he got called in doing so!

The show itself was awesome. I had only heard one of Susan's songs before, the one that is overplayed on KGSR at the moment, and I was blown away by her voice. about an hour into the show, Jimmie Vaughn (Stevie Ray's brother) showed up and Susan called him up on stage for a set. Here they are jamming. Truly amazing!

After the show, thanks to Mel's VIP passes (Mel is a writer and currently works for People as an Austin correspondent), Mac and I got to stick around. I even got my photo taken with Susan. I can't believe the voice that comes out of this woman!

Not a great picture of me, but good one of the super fabulous shirt I got in New Orleans! Later, Sondra borrowed it and was offered $400.00 for it by a man who was in town from LA for South by Southwest. She didn't sell it (thank goodness!)
