Lane celebrated his birthday at Chuy's this year. Lane is a writer so we all chipped in to get him the grand daddy of all dictionaries! Man, am I going to miss good Tex-Mex if we ever move!!

This year I actually attended some of the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival activities for the first time, thanks in large part to Sondra's knack for knowing what's going on around town. Thanks Sondra! I love this picture of us at the Cedar Door, a local venue, at sunset. Don't we look ready to run into a celebrity or two?

Lovely Sondra on the balcony of the Four Seasons hotel. There we saw Owen Wilson and Matthew McConaughey, and a nice gentlemen kept us in Manhattans while we tried to maintain our composure.

This is a nice photo of Mel, Sondra and I on the rooftop at Speakeasy. I'd just had my first experience with Salsa dancing. The band, La Tribu is a full Salsa band, including horn section, vocals, etc. What a blast! I can't wait to go again!
