Family and Friends over the 4th!

Kearson and I made our summer pilgrimage to the Northwest a little early around the Independence day holiday this year. Kearson was officiating his second wedding for our friends Michelle and Tony, so we decided to extend our stay long enough to see our families for a few days. We spent the first few days with my parents in Cheney, WA.

Sean and Lauren drove over from Portland with Lily, so we spent some quality time together over the Fourth. Lily had just learned to walk and we had a great time playing with her out on the lawn!

One day we all went out to Riverfront Park. Lily enjoyed the carousel, but I think maybe Sean enjoyed watching her even more! That's Lauren on the horse in front of them.

Going down the big slide w/ Daddy! Sean was quite brave to go down in shorts on such a hot day. That slide was about a billion degrees!
