Tailgating at the Texas VS. Ohio State Game

Excitement abounded in Austin for the Texas vs. Ohio State game. Over 30,000 Buckeyes flooded Austin for the game and locals started staking out their tailgating spots on Wednesday for Saturday's game! Huge thanks to Cindy and family for keeping watch over our spot so we could all enjoy the party!

Texans do tailgating WAY OVER THE TOP and this was an opportunity for officianados to show off. The first thing you need for a tailgate like this is POWER. Ours was one of the smaller generators supplying the power.

What, you say, does one need power for? Well - aside from the big screen TV on which to watch the game (only a lucky few got tickets at face value and extras were selling at a premium), well, the Margarita Machine of course!!

Once you've got your site powered up, well then, of course you're gonna need some SNACKS!

And this IS Texas - so BBQ is essential. Jon made some KILLER pulled pork and in the photo below, Joelle and his Dad cook up a brisket.

Jon and Sondra show their team spirit! GO HORNS!!!

More of the tailgating crowd. Check out the modified Hearse they drove in. It had a full sound system in the back!

Ah - proof that world peace is possible!
